New Normal Lifestyle

Five core ideas of Central Hygiene and Safety Master Plan are:

new normal

  1. Extra Screening: Everyone must measure body temperature before entering the shopping centers and stores; Everyone must wear face masks at all times; Staffs who work closely with customers are required to wear face shields and gloves; Additional measures will be applied for delivery staffs
  2. Social Distancing: Restrict the number of customers allowed at a time as for shopping centers allowing 1 person per 5 square meters and as for shops and common areas as elevators-escalators-bathrooms, 1-2 meters distance is required; Arrange a queuing system and waiting area for the stores and delivery staffs; Apply 5 Shields: Face Shield / Food Shield / Table Shield / Counter Shield / Cashier Shield; Increase awareness and emphasize practical guidelines to everyone
  3. Safety Tracking: Track employees’ health and travel records for the past 14 days prior to the re-opening and before starting work each day; For takeaway food, the name and temperature of the food providers must be labeled on the package
  4. Extra Cleaning: Clean every touch point every 30 minutes in the shopping centers and stores; Use disinfectant solution after shopping centers close and implement a ‘Big Cleaning’ every week; Provide a disinfectant spraying service on shopping bags before leaving; Clean all food center card and parking card; Special measures for family lounge, prayer room, fitting rooms, classrooms and clean every equipment before and after use
  5. Touchless Experience: Encourage Cashless and E-payments; Provide coins bag at the cashiers; Assign doormen; Assign staffs to press the elevator for customers (Buttonless)

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) advice for the public

Getting your workplace ready for COVID-19

  • Simple ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in your workplace:
    • Make sure your workplaces are clean and hygienic
    • Promote regular and thorough hand-washing by employees, contractors, and customers
    • Promote good respiratory hygiene in the workplace
    • Advise employees and contractors to consult national travel advice before going on business trips
    • Brief your employees, contractors, and customers that if COVID-19 starts spreading in your community anyone with even a mild cough or low-grade fever (37.3 C or more)needs to stay at home. They should also stay home (or work from home) if they have had to take simple medications, such as paracetamol/acetaminophen, ibuprofen or aspirin, which may mask symptoms of infection

Advances in Plant Phenolics

Call No.

QP801.P4 A244 2018

Presently, the diverse researchers of the phenolics community invest their time and energy in a broad range of activities from the isolation and identification of new phenolic compounds from plant materials to the study of the effect and mechanism of action of known and novel phenolics in vitro and in vivo. Reflecting this diversity, the symposium covered widespread topics, with outstanding contributions ranging from isolation and identification of naturally occurring bioactive compounds to the understanding of their health benefits. 3. Roles of Natural Products for Biorational Pesticides in Agriculture

(ACS Symposium Series)

Author: John J. Beck (Editor), Caitlin C Rering (Editor), Stephen O. Duke (Editor)

Roles of Natural Products for Biorational Pesticides in Agricultuure

Call No.

SB951.145.N37 R745 2018

Chemical products from nature have been used to control insect and microbial pests since the early beginnings of agriculture. Since these primitive years, natural products have played a direct role in controlling weeds, insects, plant pathogens, and nematodes. Topics of this AGRO (Agrochemicals Division) symposium at the 254th ACS meeting highlighted the use and importance of natural products as bioregional pesticides as they relate to agricultural commodities. Papers presented focused on the isolation of and applied use of natural products to agricultural systems, comprising topics. (amazon.com)

More CGI Love is sharing for the Blinds

More old calendars, magazines and used A4 papers have value. They were loaded in several boxes, and trucked from CGI to the Foundation of the Blinds in Thailand
on Tuesday October 15,2019. Khun Rosporn Nivatwongs, Vice President of the Foundation kindly received CGI Learning Center group,
and gave the information on the activities of the Foundation. Also, the Foundation staff showed us around the school area and the library.
It was a school vacation so the students went home, and the campus was peace and quiet, although some donators stopped by
to donate money and needed facilities for school management. The Foundation still needs more support for care giving to the blinds all over the country.
